A restaurant industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience in concept development, restaurant operations and management, Don is particularly effective at communicating with Clients about their real estate needs, from their (the operator’s) perspective. Don was instrumental in opening, and operating, Washington D.C. restaurant concepts including Mark Miller´s internationally acclaimed Red Sage and, on behalf of The Carr Companies, The Occidental and McPherson Grill.
As a brokerage professional specializing in restaurant tenant representation, he assists our Clients to navigate the site selection process, providing assistance with the associated development, planning and marketing functions. Don is responsible for executing regional penetration strategies for multi-unit restaurant companies such as Bertucci’s and Benihana Inc. He also collaborates with boutique concepts operated by acclaimed chefs such as Cathal Armstrong (Restaurant Eve), and local icons such as Billy Martin’s Tavern and Ella’s Pizza.
