Company Overview
Like the original pizzerias and trattorias of Italy, Bertucci’s started as a place for friends, family and neighbors to gather. That was in 1981 in Somerville, Massachusetts. And now friends, family and neighbors gather in more than 100 restaurants in eleven states and the District of Columbia.
Bertucci’s is one of only a handful of restaurants in the United States to offer true Neopolitan Pizza and have been officially certified by the Associazione vera pizza napoletana of Naples, Italy. While they originally started by offering only pizzas, Bertucci’s menu has grown to include pasta specialty dishes, panini and foccacia sandwiches, as well as seafood, meat, and chicken dishes. The menu has expanded to grilled entrees, including grilled steaks, chicken, and seafood. Seasonal specials are also offered. Bertucci’s is known for their dinner rolls which are made from scratch and baked fresh throughout the day. Sauces are created daily in small batches to ensure their flavor and quality.
