The Concepts
Benihana, founded by Japanese-born entrepreneur Rocky H. Aoki, began in the U.S. as a Japanese steakhouse unlike any other in the country. Rather than using conventional kitchens, Benihana’s highly skilled chefs present and prepare all entrees at a “hibachi” table, around which up to eight guests are seated. A fast-paced performance by a chef, who is as much entertainer as culinary master of chopping and juggling, creates an exciting teppanyaki-style dining experience for guests of all ages.
The RA Sushi experience is subtly sexy and energetic with a hip, upbeat ambience and a young, playful staff. Today, there are 25 locations spanning from CA to FL, featuring imaginative sushi, award winning Pan-Asian cuisine and specialty cocktails, this upscale chain offers a playful and award-winning dining experience, complete with music and a stimulating atmosphere.
Haru is a modern Japanese restaurant known for its ample portions and innovative, striking designs. Haru serves inventive and upscale Japanese fusion cuisine ranging from sushi, sashimi and creative salads to signature dishes like carpaccios, ceviches, tartares, filet mignon, grilled spicy shrimp and specialty rolls. Today, with locations in New York, Philadelphia and Boston, there are nine Haru restaurants that feature a distinctive atmosphere and menu that appeal to sushi enthusiasts and everyone who enjoy fine dining.
